Hear Better on Your Cell Phone in a Noisy RoomDec 22, 2008 Trying to hear someone on a cell phone in a noisy room can be difficult. Part of the problem is that one ear is hearing sounds from many sources and it can't separate out the phone call sound, as it can during a face-to-face conversation. While listening on the phone, that ear gets both the caller's voice and the background noise directly through the microphone. The solution is to cover the handset mouthpiece. By blocking the microphone, you will hear only the caller's voice through the phone and no background noise (through the phone). |
