Mobikade Offers Serenity Game to U.K. MobilesSep 7, 2007 Mobikade, an ad-funded mobile social networking service from Japan, has continued to build its branded games arsenal by recently adding Serenity. The company started with 20 games in April 2007. Initially, the games were casual types, developed by Excite Japan. The company plans to add roughly five games a month, including more branded games. According to Masatomo Hashimoto, manager of eBusiness at GNS Europe, Japanese gamers prefer casual flash games, while U.K. gamers tend to look for titles they have played on their game consoles. "As the specifications of European handsets keep improving, we can add serious full-scale games to our portfolio over the next few months," Hashimoto said. Serenity is a shoot 'em up game based on the film it was adapted from. Users play the role of Captain Malcolm in this top-view flying game and make it to the planet Miranda, to get to the bottom of the conspiracy locked inside River's mind. |
